Description
The Great Gatsby Jack White Jay-Z real gold platinum metallic vinyl wooden cover.
Might be the most valuable release album ever.
Both LPs in the set are blindingly reflective metallized discs. Disc one is platinum and disc two is gold. These are the first-ever commercially available records made using these precious metals via this process.
The records come housed in an entirely unique laser-cut wooden LP jacket riveted to aluminum spines. All of these elements (gold, platinum, aluminum, wood and brass) showcase the Art Deco-meets-modern style, classic meets cutting edge, which is the essence of The Great Gatsby film and Third Man Records.
The wood case and inserts are like new. The vinyl is near mint with light marks that occur when removing, inserting into the rigid inner sleeves. The labels are slightly rolled in a couple of areas, again, a result of the sleeves. The black inner sleeves are excellent with some wear from rubbing against the wooden cover.
All inserts are included, all near mint. There are no gloves. See complete set of photos.
Any significant flaws will be disclosed.
