   For sale is The Greatest Country Music Recordings Of All Time: Our Stories In Song, originally released in 1981 by The Franklin Mint Record Society. This release comes in a special box with gilded lettering containing 4 records pressed on red vinyl, each with its own plastic lined archival inner sleeve. Inside the box are a 30 page booklet, also with a gilded picture of a tree, containing a sixty-year summary plus a glossary, along with a 16 page booklet of illustrated biographies of the performing artists.  In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks of these 4 albums are etched the pressing matrix numbers A-1/B-4/A-1/B-1/A-1/B-1/A-1/B-1, indicating first stampers were used to pressed this record. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them back into their original archival inner sleeves. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. All the inserts are graded as Near Mint. The blue grained cover is graded as Excellent because of some small dents along the spine along with a little paper loss at each end of the brown hinge that  connects the bottom and top covers. The red vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. This is still one of the best copies of this album that I have ever seen and you would be hard pressed to find another copy that has all the original inserts and booklets intact. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Country records as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
