Description
Nice playable copy of a rare Harvest prog album from 1970.
The Greatest Show on Earth were a band hatched by Harvest to take on US horn rock outfits Chicago and Blood, Sweat & Tears, and their two albums are hugely enjoyable outings featuring powerful vocals, plus plenty of keyboard, guitar, brass and flute virtuosity.
Vinyl has some marks and surface lines (pictured) and plays fine with some surface noise. It grades Very Good +. This is a UK 1st pressing (A1/B2 matrices - no EMI box).
Labels are bright and clear with an ink blob on Side 1 and two small initials on Side 2, grading VG+.
The laminated gatefold sleeve (great design by Hipgnosis) has some wrinkles, spine damage, edge and corner wear and grades Very Good +.
Rare item and great LP for fans of melodic and atmospheric progressive rock.
Comes with plain white inner sleeve.
