Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Split by The Groundhogs, UK first pressing from 1971 on Liberty LBG 83401.
The stamped matrix no.s are LBG 8401 A - 1U and LBG 8401 B - 1U
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition no noticeable scuffs or scratches There is nothing that is audible or affects play.The labels are spotless with no stickers, writing, or stains. There are no spindle marks.
The fully laminated gatefold cover, printed by E, J, Day Ltd., is in Near Mint condition. There is no writing, shelf wear, stickers, tears, stains splits or creases. The cardboard is as crisp and clean as when it first left the printers. The only fault I can find is that the spine isn't quite at right angles with rest of the cover. It slopes slightly. Possibly this is how it left the printers.
The white windowless paper inner sleeve just has the usual very faint browning / ageing to the edges.

Comes from a smoke free home.
