The Gun Club - Sex Beat 7" - 45 single vinyl record - Punk / Blues / fans of The Cramps - Rare. 
CONDITION: Record itself looks to be in excellent shiny condition, I've rarely played it myself. The cover is a a little worn but no rips or anything like that, there is small pentagram with a musical note drawn on the bottom of the front cover in black ink that matches the cover. It's damage I guess but it's pretty cool damage, put in place I presume by the original owner, some teenage punk rockin' gothic nightstalker marking his or her property.... also it has a few marks on the lower back cover, perhaps from their chipped black nail polish after a half bottle of cheap vodka in a long gone squat somewhere... Look at the pictures to see condition.

So this is the legendary Sex Beat / Ghost Of The Highway 7" inch UK only single from Jeffrey Lee Pierce & Kid Congo Powers band The Gun Club - If you are looking you probably already know it and "You Got Goood Taste!".
Massive influence on White Stripes & Jack White. A band with links to The Cramps, The Bags, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and a whole family tree of punk, post punk, gothic punk blues and all that jazz..
I saw them play in London toward the end myself, underwhelming then to be honest ... BUT this is a fantastic single and legacy!

Created and led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Jeffrey Lee Pierce, they were notable as one of the first bands in the punk rock subculture to incorporate influences from blues, rockabilly and country music. The Gun Club has been called a "tribal psychobilly blues" band, as well as initiators of the cowpunk and punk blues sound"
