For sale we have the much sought after and rare first pressing of The Head's psychedelic rock album 'Everybody Knows We Got Nowhere' on the Sweet Nothing Records label, catalogue number SNLP007 double vinyl with gatefold sleeve. 'Everybody Knows We Got Nowhere' features The Heads being artsy. The album clocks in at just over 70 minutes and has the band straddling a bit of different musical territory. The fuzz, heaviness and B-movie samples that we are accustomed to are still there, but the band stretches out their repertoire and creates tunes with loose structure that seem equally based on power and feeling as they do on fuzz and heaviness. Simply put, this a blissed-out record that sounds as dirty as the resin that you scraped out of your bong or pipe last week.
The records are in fine condition as is the beautiful gatefold cover, and this album is in as great a condition as you are likely to find anywhere. The double vinyl has the odd scuff but these do not detract from the sound quality in the slightest. Using the popular guide you all know about, the sleeve and records would be graded as excellent to near mint.
