THE VERY SCARCE PURPLE VARIANT
Mail Order Only Coloured Vinyl 12" Album (LTD 150 Copies) Most Red A Handfull Purple.
Side 1 Sike # 9 Side 2 K.r.t/Cube Rehersal/October 04
Yellow Gold and Black Sleeve, Double sided gold print. Blue Stamped Insert and Silver Badge. (see pictures).
The Sleeve and Inserts are very fine in new undamaged condition with no marks. The Badge New. The Purple Vinyl New Unplayed free from marks and scratches. In the new condition I received it from the record lable. Only Removed from sleeve once for taking the pictures above.
This recently released Heads record was avaliable in LTD coloured vinyl, (150 copies), mail order only direct from the lable, Cardinal Fuzz and Black Vinyl both of which sold out immediately upon release.
Of the 150 coloured vinyl copies most were red vinyl. A handfull (quantity unknown) like this one were pressed on Purple vinly.
The Reasons for the purple variant.
It could possibly be a misspress, with a few purple ones be pressed at the pressing plant by mistake or it could be that the purple variants were only pressed for the band and close friends only, with a few escaping into the public domain.
what ever the facts turn out to be, there will likley be very few purple variants offered up for sale. A great opportunity to own one of the rarest vinyl pressings of a Heads records of recent times!
I will post worldwide well packed in a strong cardboard record mailer with plenty of packaging to ensure that both the record, the sleave, badge and inserts reach you in perfect new condition.
