The Heavyweight Champion John Coltrane The Complete Atlantic Recordings 12-LP box set
Looking to acquire the entirety of Coltrane's Atlantic output on vinyl in one shot? Look no further! This is the second pressing of the original 1995, numbered box set. As you can read in the photo, this repressing was limited to 3000 copies. I am the original owner of this set.
The box housing the records has some minor cosmetic defects (for example, see first pic bottom left of box). The covers are all EXC with the exception of a very slight, very small (<1 cm) separation of the paper on the spine (without seam separation) of the My Favorite Things album and therefore I would rate that cover a VG+. The LPs themselves are in EXC/NM- condition. These are all 180-gram records. There is some loose surface dust throughout that a simple brush/cleaning fluid application would take care of. The Coltrane Sounds album has a superficial hairline that has no effect on playback (see pic 10 at roughly 2:00).
