DESCRIPTION: Fairport Convention -  The History Of Fairport Convention double LP in top condition. 1st UK pressing with A4U/B3U/A2U/B3U matrix,  gatefold cover with blue rosette, fully and securely attached complete booklet and correct white inners. The original owner played this a few times on top end equipment, put onto tape and stored correctly. Ive played it once since i got it around 10 years ago and again they have been very well looked after. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ICD2-4: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/EX+/EX. Vinyls are really clean with a great sheen. Played passages of both discs tonight  on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays really clean and clear. Cover is in superb shape with only light edge wear, corner wear and creasing.  Great shape to spine.  Fully attached and complete booklet and ribbon in top condition. Super clean labels with minimal spindle wear.-  check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
