"History of the Fairport Convention" 2 LP album on the Island Records label (ICD4). This is a late 1970's or early 80's reissue of the original 1972 release. Fairport convention was originally formed by Richard THompson along with Simon Niclo, Ashley Hutchings and Shaun Frater (soon replaced by Martin Lamble). This compilation album also features Ian Matthews, Sandy Denny, Dave Pegg and more. Records are play tested and in NM condition. Cover is in VG+ condition. Clean with light edge and surface wear. Inside gatefold center has old tape from holding the book in. Includes the original 8 page book (loose from inside gatefold) in NM- condition. Book has old adhesive residue on back.
