Description

This is a very nice set of The History of Jazz: The Solid South Vol. 1. Six 10" 78 rpm discs, all Near Mint, possibly unplayed, in the nice cardboard sleeves bound into the album. Capitol CE 16, released in 1945. The booklet released with the set is included, a scarce item and quite collectible itself. One record is Leadbelly, performing "Rock Island Line" and "Eagle Rock Rag." That's roots music. Liner notes in the booklet are written by Dave Dexter Jr. The album itself has chipped lower corners but is solid, with a fully intact and tight spine. I pack records carefully, first wrapping in kraft paper, then bubble wrap, before they goes into a new padded mailer or an album box.  All photos are of the item offered for sale; no stock pics from me.
