Description

     "The Hobbit" is a children's fantasy novel written by English author J.R.R. Tolkien.  It was published in 1937 to wide acclaim.  It is set within a fictional universe taking Bilbo Baggins from light-hearted, rural surroundings into more sinister territory.  The box set comes with 4-LP's,  Stereophonic,  and an 8-page black & white insert booklet featuring four written pieces: 1)  Synopsis,  2) Recording the Hobbit,  3) Tolkien and 'The Hobbit',  4) Nicol Williamson.       Argo / Decca Records,   #ZPL-1196/9.  Adapted to vinyl without removing complete chapters.  Audiobook narrated by Nicol Williamson.  Vinyl are in excellent condition.  The box is in very good+ condition due to a corner cut out, and one small tear along the opening.  If you read the books, you know the rhymes.
