Best I can tell this is a 1980 reissue from the 1975 original. This is because the album is new, sealed I am not able to access the matrix data. In any event, this album is a compilation of tracks originally released 1928 and 1929. The 'Hokum boys' was a name used by a flexible aggregation of jazz / blues musician recording under the Hokum Boys name. In this case 'hokum' is category meaning 'risque or vulgar or erotic' or you get the idea. Album has great artwork front and back by the famous Robert Crumb. See photos.
