PRESSING DETAILS: PMC 1220 UK 1st Press (side 1 -1N  & side 2 -1N)


SLEEVE: (EX-) Original front laminated UK sleeve printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending has light wear from use and storage with light staining to the back and a few laminate creases. There is some scuffing to the spine but most of the text is readable.   


INNER SLEEVE: (VG-) Original 'use Emitex' inner polylined paper inner with general light wear. A small tear to the edge of the centre circle


RECORD LABELS: (VG+) Clean labels with no writing and no stickers. A few light spindle marks to both sides when angled under bright light. 'K' & 'T' embossed around the centre of side 1. No writing and no stickers.


VINYL CONDITION VISUALLY: Side 1 (EX-) Side 2 (VG+) Vinyl is flat and glossy with few light scratches and hairlines and paper scuffs when viewed under bright light. Several of theses on side 2 can be clearly seen in normal light but are superficial and do not sound. Both sides look a little dusty in places and may benefit from a professional clean. 


OVERALL PLAYING GRADE: (EX) Both sides play superb with light background crackle/static noticeable in places during the quieter music. The music sound quality is amazing and overpowers any background noise - far superior to any CD remaster or re-press with real warmth and detail. What is really rare is there is absolutely NO DISTORTION to the vocals or music on any track!! An excellent playing and great looking copy of a classic Hollies album full of amazing tracks not to be missed!  



Strict grading using Record Collector grading system.  All records are play tested on a Technics SL-1210 MK2 record player with a Shure White Label Cartridge and Stylus. All records are sent in correct record mailers or cruciform box with at least 4 cardboard stiffeners and the vinyl removed for the the original inner and put in a new polylined inner sleeve outside of the cover to make sure no splits happen during delivery. All vinyl is sent tracked and signed for.



RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING

All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.

M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
