The Homosexuals 12” vinyl EP on Black Noise from 1982
This 12” was bought in the UK by me in 1982. From memory I played it once so the vinyl will be As New and it has been stored vertically in box/racks.
According to what I can find out, the first pressing came in hand-painted card sleeves with a black inner sleeve. Presumably these are rarer than hens' teeth. The second batch were ones they didn’t do sleeves for, but put a paper seal on the black inner sleeve. This copy is from the second batch. After that they did others paper sleeves in various colours, such as purple.
The black sleeve on this one is in very good condition. It has a small amount of creasing from having being stored with other vinyl, but presumably someone could iron this out if they wanted. The seal at the top was opened carefully by me so it looks good and all the writing is clear.
As I said, the vinyl is shiny and looks new. I’ve just put the first few seconds of each side on to check and it plays great. The runout grooves have the following:
Side A: 12 – NO 2 A-1 followed by three other symbols
Side B: 12 – NO 2 B-1 followed by the same three symbols
It will be sent out well-packaged in a sturdy mailer by UK post recorded delivery.
Given that this is a rare item I will also accept bids from overseas. However I would prefer to be able to send to a UK address and then you arrange to have it shipped to you, so if you’ve got friends/family in the UK that would be best.
I will ship directly overseas if needed but it will cost you quite a bit as I would want to ensure secure transit and receipt. If you are going to need this, contact me first to make arrangements.
