The Honeys---"He's A Doll"---Ultra Rare Surf 45 Produced By Brian Wilson---In EX Condition

Great surf 45, He's A Doll, recorded in 1964, was produced and arranged by Beach Boy, Brian Wilson. The Californian girl group were formed in 1961 by Marilyn, Diana and Barbara Rovell, three sisters and were originally called the Rovells. They were introduced the Brian Wilson, who agreed to produce them, renaming them The Honeys, a nickname for female surfers. they had some Capitol singles then joined Warner Brothers in 1964, where they released He's A Doll. On December 7th that year, Brian Wilson and Marilyn Rovell were married. Despite lack of chart success, they were backing vocalists on sessions for the Beach Boys and Jan and Dean.
Despite the quality of He's A Doll, it disappeared without trace and very few promo copies and even less commercial copies were pressed of this now, extremely rare Beach Boys related 45.
B side is called The Love Of A Boy And Girl.
It is on Warner Brothers no. 5430 in mono.
Condition: Ex. Plays well right through on both sides with just a couple of light clicks and a little surface noise..
