Description
You are bidding on an original, rare and complete five record set, in the original album, of Hot Jazz, recorded in Europe in the 1930's. I can't be sure of the exact date. This is the famous quintette with Django Reinhardt, Stephen Grappelly, Joseph Reinhardt, Louis Vola and others. The Quintette of The Hot Club of France was one of the early, and most significant jazz groups in Europe. They preformed at The Hot club of France and toured throughout Europe until the group disbanded in 1939 due to World War II.
The Album front and back covers are in very good condition with some wear on the edges and Ligth surface scratches, but the in side and the record sleeves are like new and the record surfaces are in very good condition. My Father-in-law, a classical musician, owned this album and took very good care of it.
It includes recordings of Ultrfox, Crazy Rhythm, Oh, Lady Be Good!, Dinah, I've Had Moments, Swanee River, Tiger Rag, Avalon, Smoke Rings and Your Sweet Smile.
