Description
A rare and much sought after mono original of The Birthday Party by The Idle Race from 1968 on libertyrecords, this is a first pressing with A1-B1 matrix in run out . This group was the predessor to ELO and features the great Jeff Lynne. The laminated sleeve is in very good condition for nigh on 50 years old with just a small crease on the front, the spine is intact with a little wear on the sides and corners. The record plays through brilliantly with no skips and jumps after a pro clean ( see photos ) and there is just minimal surface noise in quieter parts. It’s by no means mint but you will struggle to find a copy like this and if you don’t agree after bidding I always offer a refund . Will come with a new inner and outer sleeve and be sent recorded delivery
