Now Peter Pan Records - 8216 presents "The Incredible Hulk". Features a 12" 33-1/3 RPM Vinyl LP Record came with only a record and a sleeve - no comic.
Like in the 1978 TV series, the Incredible Hulk is referred to as "David Banner" and is also a name-changing drifter seeking a cure.
Stories(Spoilers!)
In “Black Chasm”, Banner discovers that an accountant is keeping phony books to swindle his employers out of their coal mines. Fearing exposure of his fraud, the accountant tries to eliminate Banner by trapping him inside an abandoned mine-shaft; Banner becomes The Hulk and forcibly claws his way out of the collapsed mine, terrifying the accountant into insanity and thus putting an end to his conning.
Next in “Monster From the Deep”, Banner tags along on a fishing boat owned by a likeable married couple. A disgruntled ex-suitor of the man's attractive wife does his best to make the couple's life miserable. Banner becomes The Hulk and scares off the loudmouthed bully and his spineless colleague.
Next in “The Assassin”, During a campaign-speech, a mayoral candidate gets shot, and Banner gives chase when the gunman flees the scene, unwittingly causing himself to get arrested for the murder-attempt. Learning that the brutally-corrupt local police-chief is in collusion with the real assassin, Banner becomes The Hulk and smashes his way out of jail to confront the two crooks.
Finally in “Blind Alley”, While relaxing at a train station, Banner meets a friendly young woman on crutches, who is headed to see an alternative-medicine doctor to help her walk again. Banner joins her in hopes that he himself can be cured of his alter-ego dilemma, but the so-called "doctor" turns out to just be a murderous money-hungry con-artist. Banner becomes The Hulk and rescues his new lady-friend and the other patients; it's implied that he, as a real doctor, will both treat the lady's disabilities himself and eventually take her as his wife.
