Up for sale is an exceptionally rare single (7 inch, 45 rpm, vinyl record) with two great soul songs from a Canadian band, produced in Montreal.

I was unable to find out anything about the band "The Insiders".  According to the website of Discogs, Carlyle Miller was "a singer, songwriter, brass player, and producer from Quebec".  I also found a site that references him as a member of the Ville Emard Blues Band (from 1972 - 75), in which he played alto sax and flute, and did vocals.  I've listened to several of Miller's singles where he was credited as the solo artist singer and think there is a chance he also sang these tunes with "The Insiders" (although he is credited only as the songwriter).

Producer Leon Aronson attended the McGill University Faculty of Music and then the Berklee College of Music.  Early in his career, he was closely affiliated with the Canadian WAM record label, as well as witand movies.  He has won at least 5 "SOCAN" awards.

PLEASE NOTE:  The song "Tunnel of Love" is completely different than the Bruce Springsteen song of the same name.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE:  I have been made aware that some copies of this record were "mispressed" and have different songs than the ones marked on the labels.  I have personally listened to both sides and can assure buyers that my copy is not a mispress.  The song "Tunnel of Love" has lyrics about a "Tunnel of Love".  The song "Nighty Night" has lyrics about "Nighty Night".
