You are bidding on one of the RAREST OF THE RARE Quadraphonic LP releases - The Isley Brothers "Go For Your Guns". This is an outstanding album musically but any collector of vintage or quadraphonic vinyl knows how very difficult it is to acquire a copy of this album in SQ Quadraphonic sound! This release from 1977 was one of the final two popular titles quadraphonic titles released on Columbia SQ vinyl. Released at the very end of the quad surround era, it is generally assumed that fewer than normal were pressed and the title was deleted from the catalog within two short years. Given that history, you will seldom if ever see this title for sale anywhere and if you do find one, the condition is often not the greatest. This copy has a few scuffs on the outside cover but it shows very well (see picture). BEST OF ALL, this copy was a Promotional Copy with the gold stamp on the back cover, and frankly appeared to have never been played or even removed from the record sleeve when I acquired it! It even still has the special Isley Brothers clothing order form included, also in perfect condition (pictured). I have very carefully played this entire album only once on a very high end table, and it SOUNDS unplayed with not a single click or pop of any significance heard! Bottom line...if you have always wanted a minty sounding copy of this impossible to find title in quad, this copy is for you! Item will be shipped only within the United States via insured USPS.
