Description


 

 

   Up for auction is a very rare ORIGINAL American Promotional copy of In The City (2:17) (Polydor PD 14442) (1977).  It was originally issued to radio stations for airplay and features the same song on both sides. One side features the Stereo mix and the other has the rare Mono mix. This single was never commercially available in this format. The special white label is flawless and imprinted with "PROMOTION COPY - NOT FOR SALE". 

   The single is in it's original Picture sleeve. There are no wear-rings and no split seams. The corners have very minor wrinkling (see scans) resulting from original transportation and storage.  

   The disc itself is NEW, MINT and UNPLAYED. There are no scratches, and a very faint scuff should not affect play. This is NOT a re-issue ... GUARANTEED! This rarity has been safely stored in a protective vinyl sleeve for over 30 years and is a true collectors' piece. Enjoy.
