Description

This is the 2013 Music Matters Jazz reissue of Blue Note 1507 - The Jazz Messengers At The Cafe Bohemia Volume 1 on 2x45rpm Vinyl LPs.  This is a killer live performance with one of Art Blakey's best lineups - Horace Silver, Hank Mobley, Kenny Dorham and Doug Watkins.  The Music Matters Jazz 45 series represent the best that the Blue Note catalog have ever sounded.  All analog mastering chains, cut by Kevin Gray and the 45 rpm preserves as much of the fidelity as possible.  This is limited edition number 690.  I did replace those pesky pink inner sleeves with modi sleeves because they are better.
