Description

Here we have an original mono 6-eye Columbia pressing of The Jazz Messengers. This album was released in 1956 and featured legendary jazz musicians such as Art Blakey, Donald Byrd, Horace Silver, and Hank Mobley. The vinyl itself is in immaculate condition with slight surface scratches on both sides, but does little to affect play. Vinyl still has a very glossy appearance and labels are very clean. The cover is in relatively good condition with a couple defects that are pictured. Edges have slight shelf wear that are also pictured. Overall, the album is in remarkable condition for a 64 year old record, which is in itself rare. Please examine photos to see all defects. Please note that photo 4 has a lot of glare, please reference photo 1 for the best shot of the cover. Item is sold as is. Thank you!
