Description
This is Clef Records, The Jazz Scene, an original 2 LP 10" black trumpet label deep groove mono issue of this classic compilation produced by Norman Granz and featuring his stable of artists. The records are in VG++ condition, showing only a visible bump on the Flip Phillips track, (which does not effect the play) keeping it from being near mint. The records play quietly throughout. Remarkable for a piece this old. The front cover has separated from the rear, and 3 of the corner joins have split The labels are excellent. There is no booklet included. The records have been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. An excellent, collectors grade copy of this wonderful set.
