The Jazztet Big City Sounds. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Thtoughout, Farmer and Goldon shine, but there is a cohesive nature to this group; the rhythm and the horns emerge as a singlevoice. The soloists exist withon a constantly-maintainedframework; they don't wander hopelessly or endlessly. There is discipline inherent in all that's played- a blend of direction and devotion so uncommon in jazz today. It is one of sevetal qualities that make the group one of the most compelling on the current scene. Selections include The Cool one, Hi-Fly, My Funny Valentine, Wonder Why, and Five Spot After Dark among others. Both the record and the cover are in near mint condition. (See photos).
