Description

If, like me, you rate this LP very highly - you will not want to compromise on your purchase. Only the ABSOLUTE best copy will suffice. A genuine 1987 1st press in super condition - final upgrade across the board. Matrix A1/B1. Correct etching "William ...and the cats" etc... The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with the bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Go seem them live - they are still touring! Live Single out in the next couple of weeks on THIRD MAN RECORDS>
Vinyl (Ex+) Pretty much faultless - shiny surfaces with barely a mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback without reservation. The best copy I've ever snagged - a total archive copy. If you need perfection... you came a'knocking at the right door. This is clearly a low-mileage copy and has seen precious little use. Perfectly quiet background in ALL areas...intros and low-key segments. Totally clean signalled. You're close on to those original masters and reproduction levels are breath taking. If you have a half decent system - this copy is going to sound absolutely superb. I could play it all day long... Issues? Nada! It plays perfectly throughout. I can barely make out a single crackle. As close to perfect as is humanly possible. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) As good a cover as I've ever witnessed. The worst covers to preserve are WHITE or BLACK. So, this is one of those titles which is difficult to find in top-level condition. But take a look at the pics - you won't be bettering this example anytime soon. Perfectly flat both sides without any surface wear or creasing. Edge wear is very limited and the openings are the still sharp. The spine is superb with only tiniest amount of wear and all text fully legible. What might look like wear along the spine is, in fact, just shine. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity with even the corners still pointy. FINAL UPGRADE.
Inner (Ex) Almost perfect. No splits. Feels and looks new. Lush!
