Description

For Sale is one (1) The Jimi Hendrix Experience eight (8) Lp records box set "The Jimi Hendrix Experience".  Original first issue, MCA Records Stereo 088 112 316-1.   Records are pressed on 180gm virgin vinyl, seperate album jackets with art, 56 unreleased or unavailable recordings, 40 page full color book filled with rare photos. I bought this box set 2 months ago, sealed from Academy Records in NYC. I've played the set 5 times and all plays were after putting on a new Ortofon 2m Blue cartridge, using a protractor to make sure that tracking is spot on. These are like new, and the only reason I'm selling them is that I'm out of work and need the money. The cover looks like it was a b stock, in regard to the evenness of coloring, and a few of the printed letters on the cover have some spaces within the print. There's a few minor things I've noticed. On one record Jacket there's a slight ding, and I noticed one of the inner sleeves is a little bit crimped. But, basically this set is just how a set of records that you have played 5 times is, where you play the record with the cover down, and return the record to it's proper sleeve and Jacket immediately after play.
