Description
This is a classic LP and the first ever release on Track Records (Polydor)
This is also the first pressing in Mono, which has a great authentic sound.
It was cleaned and played right through before listing
Sound. Its great for most of the playback, but there are a few moments of crackle, some hiss and some light distortion, but when it occurs its brief and occasional.
No skips or jumps at all. Overall it sounded great and was an amazing experience
Surfaces. There are noticeable marks and scratches on both sides, most of them at the start of both sides, but overall it still has a nice shine. The centre labels are clean apart from the usual spindle trails for such an album. Its been played quite a lot, but still has many many years of playback in it.
Cover. The spine has some rub, but the lettering is still visible and its unbroken as are the seams. The Opening edges are fine and pretty tidy. Some de-lamination at the bottom right front corner on the front. The un-lamintaed rear is pretty tidy, with original owners name stamped top right, but of ripple on the rear corner. Original inner is is included but has writing both sides.
Sleeve is is marked bottom right 'Printed by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London, W1. Patent Pending'

Whilst this is far from a perfect copy, its a rare record and a great LP of brilliant historic music. A must for a collector who wants a 1st pressing that is still affordable.
