Nice example of the Polydor re-issue of one of the most infamous album covers of all time.  I find it hard to believe that Polydor were brave enough to release this cover for a 2nd time, they wouldn't try it nowadays.  Values of the 1968 original are going into orbit and pulling this re-issue along for the ride so a great investment and great collectors piece, just don't let your mum see it!  On top of the cover which for most people is the only reason to buy it, it's a great album with all the classic Hendrix licks you could wish for.
All of my records are play tested on a Project Debut Carbon with 2M Red stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players.  Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ Lovely looking records with lots of glossy shine.  There are a some marks and light scratches but nothing too obtrusive.  It does appear it has been stored for some time and would benefit from a machine clean which sadly I cannot provide. Labels are in great condition very little spindle wear.
Record Audio - VG There is some surface noise audible during the quieter moments on the album but I believe this is due to dirt in the grooves rather than damage but as I cannot be certain so I would have to grade as only "Very Good". For the most part the full rich sound shines through and is a very enjoyable listen.
Record Sleeve - VG This is very close to VG+ but because of the importance of the cover I don't want to mislead or over sell it.  The laminate covering has done an excellent job of minimising shelf wear but there is the usual wear on the corners and a few crease lines in the laminate at the top.  There is some light ring wear when held up against the light but generally the cover art is undamaged and looks great for 44 years of age.  The upper and lower edges are like new suggesting the record has not been played much which further strengthens my thought that a full clean would create a Near Mint sounding record. Stored in plain white sleeves which are in good condition.
All questions answered and offers considered.  Thanks for looking and please follow me and check out my other listings as they appear.  I work full time and have 3 children so please forgive any delay in communication but should be within 24 hours.
