Description

For sale the iconic 8 LP box set of The Jimi Hendrix Experience of mostly previously un released studio and Live recordings of the greatest guitarist of all time. As a 16 year old kid I had the great fortune of seeing Jimi in the late fall of 1968 and was profoundly blown away by the magic and wizardry and shear volume of that performance and I had already seen Cream some 4 months before. This set has studio and live performances of the band from his earliest recordings to one of their last concerts at 1970 Isle Of wight . An incredible live version of Red House from 1967 particularly stands out .Great early outtakes from the Are You Experienced sessions  to the Band Of Gypsies sessions.
