Description
The Jimi Hendrix Story-Jimi Hendrix. Labor Day weekend 1990 holiday special from Unistar Radio Network. Contains lots of interviews with Jimi, Billy Cox, Mitch Mitchell, Noel Redding, Jack Bruce, Chas Chandler, Sting, Wilson Pickett, Peter Tork. 3 hour special pressed on three albums (LP). One of the last radio specials to be pressed on vinyl as all radio networks were distributed on CD by 1990. Very rare radio special with original cue sheets and press release. Package is not sealed as networks mail them to stations unsealed/unwrapped.
NOTE: This is NOT the 1988 Westwood One Hendrix special that was later sold as the Reprise 4 CD box set called "Lifelines: The Jimi Hendrix Story". This is unique and ultra rare Hendrix radio special produced by Unistar Radio Network.
