For sale today is an extremely rare 78 rpm from Boston's The Jones Brothers. On Gold Medal Records - GM 952. Released in 1949, the 78 rpm was only their third - and last - release. It contains "Junie Boy" on the A Side and "My Wild Irish Rose" on the B Side. The record is signed on the B Side. You can read a bit about them here. They opened for the likes of Duke Ellington and Harry James and played at The Copacabana in New York, as well as The Latin Quarter in Boston. The vinyl record is in fair condition with wear, but has been signed by all the brothers - Clyde, Max & Herb. There is a fourth signature at the top of the record, but we are unable to figure out the mystery of who it might be. Take a look at the photos.
