In March of 1972, Carl Givens joined the staff of the Ebenezer Baptist Church as Minister of Music and Youth. Every area of his ministry has been most accept- able and productive, one of which was the organizing of the Joy Singers Choir . I have watched both Director and Choir develop in spiritual maturity and in qua- lity of performance. They seem to me, to possess a dedication that makes their music extremely effective.
