OK, here for auction is this rare piece of vinyl. Hot Fuss by The Killers, their debut album. This vinyl release is the 2004 US press on Island and should not be mistaken for the 2009 re-release which also came with a t shirt. The vinyl is still sealed in its factory shrink. Other than a slight crease visible at the upper aspect of the right sleeve, see picture above, this is a flawless copy of a great album. Hot Fuss was recently voted by readers of Gigwise as the greatest debut album of all time ahead of peers such as Oasis, Muse, The Artic Monkeys and even the Beatles. Rolling Stone rated it at thirty three in its greatest hundred debut albums of all time. This accounts for the enduring appeal of this album.
I am ceratain the vinyl is blue although never having opened it I can only list it as coloured. A recent online search confirms the vinyl issue in 2004 was only in blue, not the marbled red of another, later re-release. Bidding to start at £19.99. Track listing is:

Edit. Following a few questions from interested ebayers I am adding the following information:
- I was asked if the number on the back is 168. This number appeared on a few bootlegs that were circulating on ebay. It is not. I have added some photos of the back cover to clarify, see above.
- I was also asked to clarify the releasing label. As you can see the release was exclusively on The Control Group Label under licence to Island Def Jam Music. The original listing says on Island and should say,"Released by Island Def Jam licensced exclusively to The Control Group.
- Also eagle eyed ebayers will have noted that the description is listed twice, once with typos and one without. This occurred as a result of me attempting to correct the typos on the original body of text. I clicked on submit revisions without thoroughly checking. Once I noticed it was too late as the listing was live and had bids on. Apologies, as they say, for any inconvenience.
