During the 1950s–70s, Taiwanese factories like Bell Song produced tiny batches of LPs for sale on:

• Clubs and bars frequented by American GIs


These pressings were inexpensive, unofficial, and rarely survive today — especially in color vinyl.


Color vinyl from Taiwan in the 1960s is collectible, but orange is especially desirable.

Most Taiwan bootleg records were:

• black

• or ruby-red (the most common color pressing)


Orange pressings almost never show up.

This makes your copy stand out as exceptionally scarce, even by Taiwan vinyl standards.
