Description
The Kingsmen - Louie Louie / Haunted Castle - 7" Vinyl Single VG+ 1963 Pye Int 7N25231
Original 1963 UK first pressing of The Kingsmen – Louie Louie, backed with Haunted Castle, released on Pye International (cat. 7N.25231). A garage rock classic and a mod dancefloor favourite. Vinyl is graded VG+ with visible surface marks and general wear but plays through without skips. A-side label has handwritten marks (“C. Stevens is GREAT”) which give it a bit of DJ character. Comes in the rare and collectable purple “Spin With the Stars” Pye company sleeve, which is VG+ with minor edge wear but no splits or tears. A great play copy of this iconic anthem — one of the most covered and influential garage singles of the 1960s.
