Description
On offer here is the Kinks 1969 UK Stereo LP on Pye called Arthur or The Decline and Fall of the British Empire. I am pleased to say this LP is in very respectable condition and would be a great addition to anyone's collection.
There seem to be variations on the sleeve. This is a single sleeve which is in great condition. The front laminate is fine with just a few minor creases, barely noticeable. The back does have a little light shelf wear but is bright and clean and not grubby. The edges and spine are also fine. I will conservatively grade as Near Excellent condition. Unfortunately there is no insert. The inner is plain white.
Visually the record is in nice condition with just very light signs of sleeve removal. I don't think the vinyl has hardly ever been played as there is virtually no spindle wear, it can only have been played a handful of times. I will grade as VG+ condition.
The record plays well on Side 1 with just a couple of clicks and sounds great on my stereo. I will grade as Excellent condition. Side 2 does have a little static at the beginning and occasionally in the quiet spots. Still a respectable listen so I will grade as VG+.
Matrix numbers are Side 1 NSPL 18317 A1 and Side 2 NSPL 18317 B1.
