Description
Here we have a VG++/ G+ copy of 'The Kinks - Face To Face' LP on UK Pye NPL18149 in glorious mono. The flipback front laminated sleeve is in beautiful condition, the front is great with only the expected disc impression and some very light 'feathering' on the opening edge. The rear is solid with only a tiny turned corner on a flipback and slight staining...overall grade VG++. The disc itself is clean but does have many light scratches, one or two more prominent ones and signs of wear. The labels are clean and tidy but, at an angle, you can see many spindle traces. The matrix numbers are NPL18149 A2 and NPL 18149 B1. I was going to offer only the sleeve for this record as it's really nice and the disc didn't look so great but I played it and it plays fine, lots of background crackle but no jumps or skips etc. In fact it's a very enjoyable listen..amazing how this old vinyl can survive a few battlescars and still sound good. I'll be quite happy to put it back on the shelf if there's no takers! Happy bidding!
