Description
This is the original issue of the album on Pye in mono. The matrices are NPL18149 A2 & B2.
The cover I rate it as Good + . It is intact but has wear to the corners, see pictures 3-6 & 10 & 11. Furthermore the rear is discoloured & has some staining, see picture 2. The front is pretty good though has some creasing to the laminate. The opening has been reinforced with tape, not an uncommon practice at the time. For the spine see pictures 5 & 6. The flipbacks are intact, though creased. Their is no writing on the sleeve.
The record - visual I would grade as VG+ or Excellent-. For the labels see pictures 7 & 8. Their are spindle marks. The record has clearly been played quite a few times but their is no damage to the labels & no writing. The playing surfaces do have a few(about 3 or 4 a side) very light scratches & a similar number of light scuffs. Otherwise it is very clean & has a beautiful shine. Obviously has been well looked after. None of the marks can be felt.
The record - audio I would grade as Excellent+. Very punchy with nothing to detract from the music. Some very light static between a few of the tracks but no skips or jumps. Really has been well cared for. Shame about the cover.
