“Off the Record Special with Mary Turner – “The Kinks, Part 2” (Westwood One – OTR 84-13). Off the Record was a long-running radio show by Westwood One featuring music and interviews with popular artists and hosted by Mary Turner. Frequently coinciding with the release of a new album by the featured artist the program includes an interview with the artist as well as cuts by the artist (often from the new LP). This program featured The Kinks and was for the week of August 13, 1984. It is the second half and follows a previous week’s program. It lasts for 56 minutes (not including ads) and features several cuts includes the songs, “Juke Box Music”; “Sleepwalker”; “Gallon of Gas”; “Lola”; “Apeman”; “Permanent Waves”; “Come Dancing”; “Waterloo Sunset”; “Heart of Gold”; “Misfits”; “Hayfever”; “Better Things”; and “You Really Got Me.” Includes Cue Sheet and performance affidavit card. Records are in strong VG+ to M- condition. Cover is in VG+ condition (Shrink-wrap but has crease at bottom right corner.)
