Description

The Kinks, Well Respected Kinks. MAL 612, Compilation LP, in Fantastic Condition. 
This Mono 1966 issue Marble Arch LP with Yellow labels, of The Kinks: Well Respected Kinks, is in pristine condition. There are no scratches at all on the heavy weight pre cheap 1970's vinyl, the cover is as near mint as I have ever seen, this could have been purchased yesterday. Considering this LP is near 60 years old it is in quite astonishing condition. 
IMHO these early Kinks recordings do sound better in mono, as stereo was still in its infancy apart from the Jazz and Classical genres, songs were laid down on 4 track tape, and it was difficult to then mix to realistic stereo, this lead to the odd Beatles style very separated stereo effect.
