Description
The Kinks- The Kinks ( The Black Album) 1970 UK 25 Track Mono Double Vinyl Compilation LP in Gatefold Sleeve Pye (NPL18326)
Play Tested/ Strictly Graded- Please read carefully. Priced acccordingly.
Vinyl- Disc 1 plays through really nicely with no discernible surface noise, visually just a few light superficial hairlines- a really good listen Grades as EX. Disc 2 also plays very nicely with hardly any surface noise, the exception to this is Waterloo Sunset, where there is a light pop and a quick skip halfway through the track. Because of this it can only grade as VG- (minus)
Sleeve- has light ringwear front and back, some reddy brown scrape/scuff marks on the reverse ( see pic 3), the inside left of the gatefold has one heavier scrape mark towards the top of the left panel. ( see pic 6) The spine has a little wear but is clear and readable. Overall because of these imperfections can only grade as Good.
This will come with a new protective pvc outer sleeve ( sleeve) along with new white inner sleeves as well as the original poly lined inners.
Will combine postage with any of my other items. .Please add to basket and request an amended invoice. I believe this method is only available on the eBay website and not via the app. Otherwise pay separately and I will refund the excess amount on dispatch.
Grading Description: ( these can be adjusted slightly with the addition of a + or - to indicate that something is slightly better or worse than the standard grading , ie- VG+
Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.
Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete.
Excellent (Ex) – As above except possibly very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally.
Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle, the odd light pop etc.
Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.
Good (G) – Basically a collection filler only, a battered sleeve and a scratched/marked record with that may play with the occasional jump or skip etc.
