The Fellowship of the Ring - No.1132/5000 on 5 x Red Vinyl
The Two Towers - No.4571/8000 on 5 x Blue Vinyl
The Return of The King - No.7541/8000 on 6 x Green Vinyl
A full collection of these very limited edition vinyl box sets featuring the complete soundtrack recordings for all three films. Each set comes in a clamshell type box which houses the vinyls, a large format softcover book, a different section of the Middle Earth map and the original track listing slip from the packaging. The box is beautifully detailed internally and has a matching coloured ribbon to enable lifting out the contents. The edges of the boxes are made to appear like aged book pages.
NONE of the vinyls have ever been played.
- There is the tiniest bit of shelf wear on the edges of the boxes.
- On the play out matrix of one side of Side J of The Two Towers, there is a white mark in the vinyl. This has No detriment to the music or playing and is apparently a known issue with various of the sets when manufactured. See photo.
- On the edge of The Two Towers box there is a very small dent which was there when I received it. I didn’t send it back as I wasn’t sure I’d get a replacement. See photo (It doesn’t detract from the appearance, in my opinion).
