As you likely already realize, this is a tough set to get your hands on.
I recently purchased this and listened to it only a few times before realizing that I am in need of selling my vinyl related items due to unforeseen moving (vinyl is not fun to lug around when you know you'll be moving around a lot). Which is unfortunate for me, because this is a very beautiful album.
The vinyl itself is like new, due to only having played it a couple times through. You can tell I care about taking care of my items by noticing I replaced the sleeves with premium, "Diskeepers" for better protection and static control.
I also added some clear tape on the corners to support the book (see picture). From what I can tell, this is a flaw for all copies of this album. There's just simply too much weight packed into the book to be supported by only paper on the corners. The tape seems to hold it together just fine, and you don't even notice it unless you're looking for it.
You're going to love this piece -- and of course you'll need to grab the rest of the collection (Two Towers just released), right? :)
