Description
The Lovely Eggs 7” Panic Plants
Very rare single on Cherryade Records, CHY042. Vinyl has not been played and the sleeve is excellent. A lovely copy. “Panic Plants” was the third single to be taken from the Lancaster-based duo’s critically acclaimed second album, “Cob Dominos” and was yet another work of genius from one of the most genuinely exciting, innovative, original and compelling bands around today! “Panic Plants”, which features backing vocals from a chorus of numerous Lancaster luminaries, is a vibrant, effervescent tale of living with OCD, as told by The Lovely Eggs in their own inimitable way! It is backed with three fantastic, exclusive new B-sides, “She’s Got The Wine”, “Creepin’” and “Furness Mountain”. The Lovely Eggs’ recent single “Don't Look At Me (I Don't Like It)”, has been touted as an early contender for single of the year, with its video (featuring John Shuttleworth as the man with the sausage roll thumb) fast becoming an internet hit. “This song deserves to be yelled from every rooftop in every street in Britain” wrote legendary music critic Everett True, and if the reaction to their recent tours are anything to go by, people might well be heading out of their skylights sooner than you think. Track listing: 1. Panic Plants 2. She’s Got the Wine 3. Creepin 4. Furness Mountain
