This is an original 1967 USA pressing of Colgems COM-104, "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd". Featuring the double-sided hit "Pleasant Valley Sunday" / "Words," and some of their best album tracks, like "She Hangs Out," "Star Collector," and "Cuddly Toy," the last of which was one of the first Nilsson songs to be covered by a major artist. This is the original first pressing, NOT a reissue- guaranteed; there is no "Re" anywhere on this cover. I think some of the earlier Mono albums had a second pressing (which would almost certainly have the "Re" on the cover) but I don't think this one did; it came out just as they were phasing mono out, anyway. What's really neat about this one- as record companies removed Monaural albums from their catalogs, unsold copies were usually marked with delete markings (drillholes, cut corners, etc). THIS HAS NONE OF THOSE! Note: the picture I've added is a stock picture, to help you remember which LP this is, and not of my specific album. I'm going to try to get my new digital camera up and running over the next couple days; if I do, I'll replace this picture.
Definitely original shrinkwrap, and not a resealed item. Original shrinkwrap is easy to tell; it has a different texture from what was used in the years since. And original shrinkwrap jobs have much different seams than what was later done by distributors. This is unquestionably original, and is guaranteed to be such. (Note: as with all sealed records, when you receive it, please make your inspection BEFORE you open it. No sellers will accept returns on an opened, formerly sealed LP!).
This is in SUPERB original, unopened CONDITION; gem mint! No cutouts, holes, stains, bent or pushed corners, split seams, wear on spine, dogeared corners, writing, stickers, etc.. NOTHING. You often see these with staple holes in the upper left corner from price tags, this has none of those. Also, it does NOT have a piece of shrinkwrap missing where a price tag was removed, as they often do. No holes or tears in shrinkwrap, no missing shrink. Back cover is totally unfaded- apparently this was kept out of the sun! Straight as an arrow too, no possible warps. YOU WILL NEVER FIND A BETTER ONE- PERIOD. The last word on the grading and authenticity of this item- please check our feedback before bidding!
