The Mahler Project - Limited Edition 180g Vinyl Collection - 23 Test Pressing LPs
Incredible to find this collection last year, and it was still sealed! At first I had no idea what I had discovered, so I opened one of the sealed volumes (#7) to inspect further. After researching the ambiguous matrix numbers (SFS 0040...) I was able to determine it is volume 7 from the Mahler Project by SFS Media (San Fransisco Symphony Orchestra). The retail version of this set was mastered by Kevin Gray at AcousTech Mastering and is out of print. It was limited to only 500 copies worldwide. These test pressings, however, are likely one-of-a-kind. Fortunately, I left all the other volumes sealed. Because of this, the pictures offer little information. So I think it would be helpful to type out a breakdown of what is included in this listing:
