The Majors, Meet The Majors, Imperial Records #9222. Deep Groove. MONO. Original issue 1962. Virtually every track is fantastic. R&B. Soul. Early Rock & Roll. Doo Wop. Northern Soul.
DEADWAX/TRAIL-OFF. This looks to be a 1st Pressing: Side One: (machine stamped): 1X_446-2 A1 Side Two: (machine stamped): 1X-446-1 A1 Virtually every track is spectacular.
Grading Parameters: SEALED-Mint / Near Mint / Excellent or better / Excellent / Strong Very Good / Very Good / Good / Fair. Condition: ** This rare deep groove Majors LP plays in-between Excellent or better to Near Mint Condition. Bright shiny clean, crisp pressing with all around full potent beautiful Mono, pressed loud for your enjoyment. No finger-feel scratches, no other vinyl penetrating scratches, no light scratches, no 'paper' style lines. Virtually all the tracks are great. * The COVER is in Excellent Condition, no split seams, the spine is beautiful without marks, as well as no marks on the top edge other than minute frey at the very edge of the opening. The bottom edge has no marks. There a soft crease at the top opening edge that's hard to initially notice, slight wear to the front with minute frey at the bottom and back, no handwriting, no ring-wear. There's price tag pin hole residue at the upper corner. Great cover image. * The original inner paper Imperial sleeve is in-between Good to Very Good Condition, with a partial tear at one side edge, pin hole marks, a split seam all the way at the torn edge side. Great deep printing of the original paper sleeve. * Labels: In Near Mint (-) minus Condition. Side one only has an inherent, what-looks-to-be a miniscule, not even 1/16th of an inch barely-there light scratch or miscue of the printing of the label just above the top of spindle, not going into the image and barely there much smaller same mark below the spindle not going into the image. There are no spindle marks on either side. It is clean. The inherent mark was done at manufacturing/laying of the label to the disc) when somehow it looks to have been scratched or a miscue in the printing.
