Description

This is a very rare recording of the Manson Family singing some of Charlie's songs. It was recorded in 1970 with Steve Grogan on lead vocal & guitar, accompanied by Red, Blue, Gypsy, Brenda, Ouisch, Capistrano... pretty much all of the The Family. The quality is quite good considering they were likely in some peculiar shack on the Spahn Ranch recording it.
This was given to me in 1990 by the man who manufactured it. It was an independent project, it's not on a label. It's number 406 of a limited release of 999.
This record is in excellent, perfect condition. I think I've played it maybe 3 times. PLEASE NOTE, however, that there are flaws. The album cover has been worn just by the album inside and moving around with me for 20 years. The photos show the marks clearly. The white vinyl has imperfections in color as well, also documented very clearly in the photos. This has absolutely NO effect on the playback of the album.
The track list is as follows...

  1. "Ra-Hide Away!"
  2. "Love's Death"
  3. "Die to Be One"
  4. "No Wrong-Come Along"
  5. "Get on Home"
  6. "Is There No One in Your World But You?"
  7. "First They Made Me Sleep in the Closet/I'm Scratchin' Peace Symbols on Your Tombstone"
  8. "Give Your Love (To Be Free)"
  9. "I'll Never Say Never to Always"
  10. "Look at Your Love"
  11. "If I Had a Million Dollars"
  12. "Goin' to the Church House"

Thanks for looking!
